Understanding Botox side effects

What ever we need to look younger or slimmer, there is always pain involved.  Whether it is tough workouts, dieting or cosmetic surgery, it is never easy or fun.  If you are considering injections, there are Botox side effects you should be aware of.  A needle is inserted into you muscle in your face or neck.  Anytime this is done, you can expect some temporary pain and discomfort.  This is one of the Botox side effects.

Because it is a non surgical cosmetic treatment, Botox side effects are usually temporary and only mild to moderate in nature.  A common response by patients is that they experience weakness in the muscle and discomfort where the injection was given.  This again is only temporary.  Some patients also experienced a drooping of the eyelid likely caused by the temporary paralysis of the muscles in the eye region.

Other reported Botox side effects included eye irritation, dry eyes, tearing and light sensitivity.  We highly recommend that you use a qualified plastic surgeon if you are considering this procedure.  Also, it is best to discuss all possible side effects with them prior to the treatment taking place.  No cosmetic treatment should be taken lightly.
