Neck liposuction is a procedure that removes excess fat and skin and can assist with tightening sagging skin.  This procedure helps reduce the thickness and fullness in the neck.  Liposuction in done through small incisions often made behind the ear.  A thin tube is inserted to suction out fat.  Often, a laser is used inside the same incision that helps tighten sagging skin once the fat is removed. 

It is not uncommon for people to have neck liposuction along with neck lifts or chin lifts and implants.  It is not unusual to have multiple procedures which can result in much more noticeable improvements.  This may also help in sustaining the look you are after. Another advantage of having multiple procedures is that you may be able to negotiate a better rate with your surgeon.

Neck liposuction is not a long procedure and there is often minimal post op discomfort.  It generally lasts between 30 minutes and an hour.  Of course, if you have having multiple procedures, it will take longer to perform and this could result in soreness and discomfort afterwards.  We recommend that you do your due diligence and fully understand the complications that can arise with this type of surgery.
